Location
We are located in the heart of the North Western Highlands on the shores of Gairloch, an ideal base from which to explore the unspoilt beauty of Wester Ross, famous for it’s spectacular sunsets, rugged scenery and golden sandy beaches.
Our nearest city is Inverness 71 miles – approximately an hour and a half away.
Travelling from the south
From Inverness follow the A835 to Garve, from Garve follow the A832 through Achnasheen and on to Gairloch. As you arrive in Gairloch you will see the harbour on your left, continue driving until you come to McColls shop on your right, turn left here and continue to the bottom of the hill, you will see our sign, turn left on the corner.
Travelling from the north
Follow the A832 signs from Braemore through Dundonnell, Aultbea and Poolewe. As you come into the village you will come down a hill, turn right at the bottom opposite McColls shop, continue down towards the sea , at the bottom of the hill you will see our sign, turn left.
By Sea
If travelling by sea, collection from the harbour is possible.
By Air
Our nearest airport is in Inverness. All major car hire companies operate from here.
By Rail
Our nearest main train station is Inverness. There is a bus service from Inverness to Gairloch each evening. You could take the train to Achnasheen, but there is no further connecting transport from this station. See the Scotrail website for timetables and routes.
By Bus
There is a bus service to and from Inverness once per day. It departs from Gairloch each morning and returns from the main bus station in the city centre each evening. This service excludes Sundays.
